The 2010-2011 school year will be my 34th year as a teacher. I have taught at two elementary schools in Murray County Georgia. I love teaching! During my career, I have had homerooms in fourth and fifth grade. Currently, I am an EIP teacher for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students and do the website for my school.

I received my undergraduate degree from Lee College in Cleveland, Tennessee; my Masters degree from the Univeristy of Tennessee in Chattanooga; and my Specialist's degree from Lincoln Memorial University.

Although I have always taught in Murray County, my family and I live in Cleveland, Tennessee. My husband, Hubert, and I have been married for thirty-nine years. We have a daughter, son-in-law, and three grandchildren. We are fortunate that they live right beside us so we get to spend a lot of time together.

Some of my favorite things to do away from school are: spending time with my family, reading, taking pictures, maintaining this web site, doing jigsaw puzzles, and working in our yard.
